The Diversity Reading List project collects high quality texts in philosophy, written by authors from under-represented groups. Each text is supplied with suppementary details from a scholar working in the field, such as a commentary on how the reading might be used in a pedagogical context. The aim of the project is to promote the work of under-represented researchers by better facilitating the use of their texts in teaching. Currently, the project is focussed on readings in ethics, but in the near future it will be expanded to all areas of philosophy.
The project is hosted and supported by Eidyn and the School of Philosophy, Psychology, and Language Sciences. It has also received additional support from the University of Edinburgh, the University of Leeds, the British Philosophical Association, the Society for Applied Philosophy, and the American Society for Aesthetics.
